What This Assessment Is
The Prospect Assessment is an information gathering step designed to support an internal review by ABFI. It helps us understand your business, accounting environment, and current situation so we can determine whether ABFI is the right fit.
What This Assessment Is Not
This assessment does not create an engagement, does not obligate either party to move forward, and does not replace a formal engagement agreement. No accounting work begins at this stage.
What You’ll Be Asked to Provide
The assessment focuses on information you should already know if you oversee the business’s finances. You will be asked about:

State of formation and length of time in operation

Primary decision-maker and contact information

Website and general business profile

Current accounting system and processes

General financial and operational context
No documents are required. You do not need to upload reports, statements, or files to complete this assessment.
How to Complete the Assessment
The assessment can be completed in one sitting using the best information you currently have. Exact figures or formal reports are not required at this stage. Thoughtful, good-faith responses are sufficient for evaluation.

Most businesses complete the assessment in approximately 20 to 30 minutes.
Authorization & Review
By completing the assessment, you authorize ABFI to review the submitted information for evaluation purposes. If additional clarification is needed, we will request it separately.
Scope Clarification
ABFI does not provide tax preparation, tax filing, or CPA services. Any tax preparation services are performed by independent CPAs engaged directly by the client.
