ABFI Accounting was built on one observation.
Businesses between $1M and $10M in revenue are the most underserved segment in accounting. Too large for basic bookkeeping. Not yet at the scale to justify a full internal accounting team. Left to patch together disconnected vendors and manage the gaps themselves.
We built ABFI to be the department that fills that gap. Not a vendor. Not a service provider for one function. A structured, recurring, scalable fractional accounting department built specifically for growing businesses.

A structural failure, repeating across growing businesses.
Jordan Wells founded ABFI Accounting after watching the same structural failure repeat across growing businesses. The bookkeeping was getting done. The taxes were being filed. But no one owned the system connecting those two things. The business owner was acting as the default integrator between professionals who had never spoken to each other, spending leadership time on accounting coordination that should never have required their involvement.
The solution was not better software or another service provider. The solution was structure. One department that owns the entire accounting function and is accountable for whether it works.
That is what ABFI was built to be.

HOW ABFI OPERATES
One department. One contact. Long term, by design.
ABFI serves as your fractional accounting department through the Client Accounting Management framework. Every function operates within that structure. Bookkeeping, controller oversight, payroll, CPA coordination, financial reporting, and CFO advisory are not separate services. They are functions of one department, coordinated through one system, with one point of accountability for the whole.
Every engagement is ongoing and recurring. ABFI is not a project firm. It is a long term operational partner. The department runs every month. Reporting is consistent. The financial function works without the owner in the middle of it.
